My Love,

I have been thinking about this for a long time. It would perhaps be better to say this to you in person, but you’re hard to talk to in person. We’ve known each other for years, practically my entire life, and for a long time, I couldn’t imagine living with anyone else; any other way. Nevertheless, I’ve come to realize more and more that we have essential divergences in our view of the world, as it were, and this leads us not only to many conflicts and misunderstandings – it also leads us to hurt each other… which, you must admit, is simply unsustainable in the long term.
