Philipp Schorch’s research features a long-standing interest in the history of collections from Oceania found in Leipzig and Berlin, as well as exhibition formats in the context of the transformation of the political paradigm and the geographical context of the museum as an institution. In his newest book, he offers an insight into the practice of three museums located in what is known as the Polynesian Triangle in the Pacific Ocean.
