Andrzej Kramarz & Weronika Lodzińska
The five photographic cycles of the Polish duo Andrzej Kramarz and Weronika Łodzińska, which together form part of the project Home, are coherent both visually and in terms of concept. The cycles present several types of more or less bizarre human dwellings, some furnished with loving care over years, some on the contrary quite provisional. To quote the artists, their principal idea of the series, created over the last few years in Poland, was “to show what home can be, bring the idea of home closer to the public and force it into thinking about the essence and need of shelter but at the same time to present a man shown in his most intimate space.”
