Vilém Reichmann once complained: “I no longer walk any distance, as my feet start giving me pain in no time. I think I will stop taking pictures outdoors, and take up painting on film.” He was seventy-six at the time. By “walking” he meant working outdoors all day, carrying a bag full of lenses in addition to his Pentacon Six camera.
