Tomáš Ruller
The Presence of the Body Boundaries. Nothing More, Nothing Less.
“The womb of the soul is where the inner world and the outside world
meet. Therefore, no one knows themselves unless they are themselves
and someone else at the same time.”1
The body is related to the visualization of human desire and the need
to make it in the all-giving and all-accepting existence in the limited
continuum of the universe. The Austrian biologist and philosopher Ludwig
von Bertalanffy (1901–1972) sees the body – the corporeality, i.e. living
organisms – as “open systems that interact with their surroundings through
the exchange of energy”.2
