To gather on the other side of the “common“ (common ground, common habitat, common values) that defines our coexistence. This could very well be the formula that echoes amidst the imagery imbued in the practice of Maja Smrekar—searching for ways to better understand, but even more importantly enact an alternative shared existence with beings that we characterise as animals.
