Barbora Toman Tylová
A Personal Dimension to Updating
Where to look for a template for contemporary visual poetry? This was the elementary question artist Barbora Toman Tylová (born 1981) posed. She approached the problem, thus defined, from the angle of graphic design. Just as visual poetry itself is an intersection of word and image, so the devices chosen by Tylová explore the possibilities of making a novel intervention into the relationship between the visual and the read, between the seen and the thought.
