David Stecker
Visibility angle
The question of angle, or more precisely, a certain relationship to time. The angular relationship to time, the perspective. All this is said in David Stecker’s stance, a physical stance, the means by which he takes on the position of world angle (perspective). Take good notice of Henri Cartier- Bresson’s individual means of approaching objects; how he dances with them prior to photographing them. However, David’s dance tends rather to be step, step (which he is not looking for) step (which crosses the object’s path), objects (which are often somewhere behind people), step (that crosses the path with the image’s essence), the world’s expectations.
