The photographer Michele Borzoni is a member of the TerraProject
Collective – an Italian group of documentary photographers. TerraProject
was established in 2006 and, in addition to Borzoni, its members include
the documentarians Simone Donati, Pietro Paolini, and Rocco Rorandelli.
Together, these photographers concentrate on the Italian realities of
today, current social problems, and environmental issues. In their work,
produced within the framework of the collective, they apply the principles
of collective authorship to photographs. In addition to doing documentary
work, they are also commercial photographers
