Pavel Sterec
Solomon and Frankenstein
A few years ago, Pavel Sterec (*1985) decided to organize an expedition to a light reservation on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland. The participants were to come from different walks of life, and were selected accordingly. Darkness was supposed to rid them of images (to blind them) and thus, dissolving the coordinates of time and space, liberate the exchange of ideas, creating an invisible, omniscient collective body. That’s all I can remember. Anyway, the expedition fell through, but it was presented at an exhibition of young artists in Zlín.
