To Live the Coming Death
This text seeks to open up some tensions between counting the dead as a mode of speaking truth to power and the racialized logics of which deaths count in such operations. In doing so, it seeks to open a way to considering how the dead may come to count differently. It is part of a wider ongoing re- search project developed through the BAK Fellowship program 2018-2019 and tentatively framed as a question of political community with the dead.
