Parallel Realities

The title Parallel Realities echoes a title of a sci-fi themed book, a little. Yet in many respects the world we live in has exceeded even the boldest fantasies of science fiction writers long ago. Many people, especially the younger generation, spend a part of their daily lives in virtual reality. No wonder, as in the virtual environment physical limitations disappear, teleportation is a common means of transport, physical appearance is not genetically determined and death is not hopelessly definitive.
