Pískařská 5/2027 is the street address where we find the tangible mass of a garage ventilation shaft. It is a simple grey shape made of rough concrete, which forms the rim of an aperture located in the courtyard of a new block of flats. It is through this opening that air enters the garage. There is a grate at the bottom of the shaft for which this aperture serves as the opening. At ground level, the shaft system is encircled by a concrete railing. This enclosure is in the form of a wall, which is less than a meter and a half high and half a meter wide.
