Although at first glance it might seem like the four artists featured in the Objects Recognized in Flashes exhibition at Vienna’s Mumok are linked by an interest in the methods of advertising and product photography in the context of fine art, it is in fact a deeper reassessment of the essence of photography that forms the foundation of this show.
