Barbora Tichá
Barbora Tichá is quiet (play on words here: Tichá in Czech means quiet)…just like she herself says in the animation…through the mouth of her friend who despises her precisely for this characteristic. Yes, Barbora is a quiet observer and at the same time as quiet as perhaps the surface of lava in a volcano. In her videos and performances everything is boiling. With emotions, feelings, the suppression of feelings, their occasional eruption and the subsequent silence, broken up only by the grinding of teeth. We see the vital purgatory of today’s young person, just as happened to us once, only that we have forgotten all about it.
