During the week between April 27 and May 4, 2020, Binna Choi and Lydia Matthews met on a Zoom platform in their living rooms in Amsterdam and Brooklyn. Binna directs Casco Art Institute: Working for the Commons in Utrecht, Netherlands and Lydia Matthews is an independent curator who teaches fine art at Parsons School of Design in New York. They approached their conversation as a utopic space for imagining how to resist “business as usual” in light of the COVID 19 pandemic.
