Intimate Trace in Public Space
Public space long ago became a favored platform for the presentation of artistic activities of various artistic realms. It is usually in an effort to bring works closer to people – to address those who may not have found their way to the gallery. It is often even a social (political) prompt, a matter of raising awareness and inciting thought about a specific problem.
On the opposite end of the vast spectrum of possibilities that public space provides, there are those artists whose motivation is not addressing crowds – their statement is more internal, or, one might say, more intimate.
