Reunion of strangers

Not only do mountains meet mountains and people meet people, but people meet mountains and mountains meet people. They also pass each other, provided they do not make mutual advances. When performances began in the 1970s, performers were influenced by a phenomenological relationship to the world. As part of this approach subjects such as mountains, for example, addressed (spoke to) the actor-subjects. Ultimately an I-You-It triad was born of Martin Buber’s philosophy. The origin of art was sought after in the meeting of I with a shape that via that I wished to become a work of art. It thereafter stood as a work of art, from which also flashed the interaction from the encounters of my I and You, that is me and you.
