Found photographs coming from the hands of anonymous persons, moment photos showing lives of people we no longer know hide in them both a challenge and at the same time evoke marked unease as to how to handle them. People lose a clear identity, they become just a record on a negative. They are the only evidence that these people were and that in fact they looked that way. Their current existence thus stems from stored photos. Given that we’re speaking about discarded artefacts and not even their closest family members (or other persons near to them) did not feel the importance of preserving these records from the past, their future being thus depends directly on their finders.
