Tereza Havlínková
SSSR
I contemplate the landscape that I see in pictures and I ask myself why Tereza Havlínková photographed them. What led her to choose this motif? What was the basis for this selection? In her landscape photographs the motif of the portrayed is not of primary importance. To consume the landscape does not mean to feel as if being a part of it, but rather to observe it from afar, to look at it as a good on a supermarket shelf that we do not wish to buy; as with billboards that offer us something that we already have at home.
