Lukáš Jasanský & Martin Polák
Wheels
After discussing the theme and content of the current issue of Fotograf Magazine together with Lukáš Jasanský and Martin Polák, and after a brief look through their archive, we jointly came to the conclusion that the cycle Kuranda (1998) which we originally intended to publish, and which is perhaps their work most systematically concerned with automobiles, appeared to be only the tip of the iceberg. For the theme of automobiles in fact runs through their entire oeuvre, providing a perfect unifying thread.
